About The Tin Shed

No Frills

We eliminate all the unnecessary costs. No fancy showroom or high pressure salespeople. We operate in a simple, clean, warehouse showroom environment.

Low Overhead

We discard everything that gets between you and the best bargains in the business. We do not pay a lot for real estate or advertising. We keep our operating costs very low. You pay for merchandise, not excessive overhead!

Selection

Thousands of pieces of brand new furniture, rugs, mattresses, living rooms, dining rooms, leather, home office and home entertainment. We also belong to the premier national furniture buying group that allows us to buy at much lower prices than a single, independent furniture store. All savings are reflected in our low pricing.

History

The Kloss family began in the retail home furnishings business in 1976. From day one we became known for offering fantastic service on top of low, affordable prices.

Under the leadership of Doris Kloss and her son, Steve Kloss, the business continued to grow rapidly until a devastating fire that resulted in a total loss in late 1998.

Left with our warehouse and the declining economy, we decided to turn it into a “furniture warehouse” showroom. This model allows us to price our products much lower than a traditional, high overhead furniture store. It is very simple to run with very few employees. For all of our employees, we have more fun working in this concept knowing that our customer can purchase at prices much less than anywhere else!
